"We need a place. We need a place where we can perform. We need a place where we can exhibit. We need a place where we can simply come together."-Dr. Raymond M. Olson
Under the purview of the TOARTS Board of Directors, the Theater Performance Credits program is designed to provide local nonprofit organizations with financial assistance to make usage of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Bank of America Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) theatre facilities more accessible.
The Dr. Raymond M. Olson Performance Grants are available to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts group who has reserved a performance date at either the Fred Kavli Theatre or the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum in the fiscal year for which the grant is being requested. Successful applicants will receive a Theatre Credit and funds will be allocated only upon certification of the completion of specified performance. TOARTS performance credits will be awarded based on available funds.
Application grant cycle will run for a period of 30 days generally from early April to early May.
Please carefully review and complete all parts of the application in its entirety and follow the checklist for order of assembly. Incomplete or unsigned applications will not be considered.
